Description

An easy dessert combining strawberry filling, cheesecake, and cake mix for a gooey treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Cut the softened cream cheese into small pieces and scatter them over the pie filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the entire surface of the cake mix.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. Top with fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

This dump cake is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
