Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the granulated sugar, strawberry puree, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat each ball generously in powdered sugar.
- Place the coated balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies have a crinkled top and are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberry puree. These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
