Delicious strawberry-flavored cookies with a crinkled top and soft texture.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup strawberry puree
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the granulated sugar, strawberry puree, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat each ball generously in powdered sugar.
  6. Place the coated balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies have a crinkled top and are set.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use fresh strawberry puree. These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
