Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, vanilla extract, and strawberry puree until well combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in powdered sugar to coat.
- Place balls on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberries for the puree. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
