For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk together and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes to glaze the chicken.
- Remove from heat. Stir in the lemon zest. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
