A quick and easy skillet chicken dish with a bright, sweet, and tangy honey lemon sauce that the whole family will love.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk together and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes to glaze the chicken.
  5. Remove from heat. Stir in the lemon zest. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
