Description

Delicious sugar cookie cups filled with a creamy cream cheese buttercream frosting, perfect for holidays or parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For Frosting: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  5. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place into muffin tin.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  7. For frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  8. Pipe or spread frosting onto cooled cookie cups.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Add food coloring to frosting for festive occasions.
