Description

A creative fusion dish combining the flavors of sushi and pizza, featuring a crispy rice base topped with fresh ingredients like fish, avocado, and soy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sheets nori seaweed
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1/2 cup smoked salmon, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice in 4 cups of water according to package instructions.
  3. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; stir into the cooked rice and let it cool.
  4. Press the rice onto a greased pizza pan to form a crust and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  5. Layer the nori sheets on the rice crust.
  6. Add toppings: shrimp, salmon, avocado, and cucumber.
  7. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
  8. Bake for another 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute shrimp and salmon with tofu or mushrooms. Ensure all fish is fresh and properly handled.
