Description
A flavorful dish combining sweet and spicy shrimp and wings, served with aromatic yellow rice.
Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound chicken wings
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add shrimp and chicken wings to the marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
- In a separate pot, cook rice with turmeric and water according to package instructions.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the marinated wings until crispy, about 10 minutes per side.
- In the same pan, add garlic and onion, then cook the shrimp until pink, about 5 minutes.
- Serve the shrimp and wings over the yellow rice.
Notes
For extra heat, add more hot sauce to the marinade. Pairs well with a side salad.
