A simple and flavorful recipe for tender cube steak cooked in a crockpot with creamy mushroom sauce.

- 2 pounds cube steak
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 packet (1 ounce) onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the cube steak in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and beef broth until well combined.
- Pour the soup mixture over the cube steak in the crockpot.
- Add the sliced onion on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the steak is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
For extra tenderness, you can dredge the steak in flour before adding to the crockpot. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
