Description

Ingredients

  • 3 large yellow onions, sliced into rings
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 cup breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sliced onions with mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the onion mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and add breadcrumbs if desired for extra crunch.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the onions are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
