  • Author: Chef Lalybeth
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, mixed with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir to coat all ingredients evenly; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of teriyaki sauce. Adjust the sauce quantity based on desired spiciness.
