A quick and creamy Turkish breakfast dish featuring poached eggs on garlic yogurt, drizzled with spiced butter.

- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Aleppo pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh dill for garnish
- Crusty bread for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Spread on plates and set aside.
- Bring a pot of water to a simmer, add vinegar. Poach eggs for 3-4 minutes.
- In a pan, melt butter and stir in paprika and Aleppo pepper until fragrant.
- Place poached eggs on the yogurt mixture and drizzle with spiced butter.
- Garnish with fresh dill and serve with crusty bread.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the Aleppo pepper. Ensure eggs are fresh for perfect poaching.
