Description

A heart-shaped cheesecake perfect for Valentine’s Day, featuring a creamy filling and a graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325Β°F (163Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of heart-shaped molds.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  6. Stir in sour cream and a few drops of red food coloring if desired.
  7. Pour the mixture over the cooled crust in the molds.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Cool in the oven with the door ajar, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use heart-shaped silicone molds for the best shape. Garnish with fresh strawberries for an extra touch.
