Description

These cookies are loaded with a mix of chocolates, nuts, and candies, perfect for a romantic Valentine’s Day treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup candies (like M&Ms)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Mix in chocolate chips, nuts, and candies.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. For a twist, add dried fruits.
