A quick and flavorful wonton soup perfect for weeknights, featuring homemade wontons in a savory broth.

- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 cup chopped bok choy
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold and seal the wrappers to form wontons.
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth and ginger to a boil.
- Add the wontons and bok choy to the boiling broth and cook for 5-7 minutes until wontons float and are cooked through.
- Remove ginger slices and serve hot.
Notes
Seal wontons tightly to prevent them from opening during cooking. For a vegetarian version, substitute pork with mushrooms.
