Description

A festive shortbread cookie that’s light and airy, perfect for holiday baking with a buttery texture and optional festive sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: red and green sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add the flour and vanilla extract, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Shape the dough into balls or use a cookie press for designs.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350Β°F for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  5. Allow to cool and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes
