Ingredients

- 1 cup mixed nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, and pecans)
- 1/2 cup mixed seeds (such as pumpkin, sunflower, and sesame seeds)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add nuts and seeds to the mixture and continue cooking until the temperature reaches 300Β°F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla extract, and baking soda.
- Quickly pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
- Let cool completely, then break into pieces.
Notes
For a healthier version, use honey instead of corn syrup. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
