- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add the sliced steak, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned and vegetables are tender.
- Remove the mixture from the skillet and wipe it clean.
- Place a tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle with cheese, add the steak mixture, and top with more cheese.
- Fold the tortilla in half and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, add jalapeΓ±os or hot sauce. Ensure the steak is sliced thinly for quick cooking.
