Description

A quick and easy steak quesadilla recipe that can be prepared in just 5 minutes, perfect for a fast meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Add the sliced steak, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned and vegetables are tender.
  3. Remove the mixture from the skillet and wipe it clean.
  4. Place a tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle with cheese, add the steak mixture, and top with more cheese.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Repeat with remaining tortillas and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, add jalapeΓ±os or hot sauce. Ensure the steak is sliced thinly for quick cooking.
