- 500g ground beef
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sautΓ© until golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Mix in tomatoes, green chilies, and all spices; cook for 5 minutes.
- Add diced potatoes and enough water to cover; simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the red chili powder. Serve with rice or naan for a complete meal.
