Description

A flavorful delight of Asian-inspired tuna cakes served with spicy mayo.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine tuna, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Serve with spicy mayo made from mixing 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon sriracha.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake the patties at 400Β°F for 15 minutes instead of frying.
