  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the almond extract and orange zest.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined, then fold in the chopped almonds.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
