Description

A simple and flavorful baked pork cube steak recipe that’s easy to prepare and perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 pork cube steaks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each pork cube steak in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Brown the steaks on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer the browned steaks to a baking dish and pour the beef broth over them.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the steaks are tender.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic powder or onions to the flour mixture. Ensure steaks are cooked to an internal temperature of 145Β°F.
