- 4 pork cube steaks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each pork cube steak in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the steaks on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the browned steaks to a baking dish and pour the beef broth over them.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the steaks are tender.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or onions to the flour mixture. Ensure steaks are cooked to an internal temperature of 145Β°F.
