A delicious easy-to-make cheesecake featuring fresh bananas, gooey caramel, and crunchy nuts for a perfect dessert.


Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325Β°F and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. For the crust: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. For the filling: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in mashed bananas and 1/2 cup caramel sauce.
  6. Stir in chopped nuts, then pour the filling over the cooled crust.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool completely.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Drizzle with remaining caramel sauce and garnish with nuts.

Notes

Ensure bananas are ripe for the best flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
