- Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Filling:
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325Β°F and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- For the crust: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- For the filling: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in mashed bananas and 1/2 cup caramel sauce.
- Stir in chopped nuts, then pour the filling over the cooled crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool completely.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Drizzle with remaining caramel sauce and garnish with nuts.
Notes
Ensure bananas are ripe for the best flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
