Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in the cooked ground beef.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  7. Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish, place stuffed shells on top, and cover with more sauce.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with spinach and mushrooms. Ensure shells are al dente to avoid sogginess.
