- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked ground beef.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
- Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish, place stuffed shells on top, and cover with more sauce.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with spinach and mushrooms. Ensure shells are al dente to avoid sogginess.
