  • Author: Chef Lalybeth
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Juicy steak bites seared to perfection and served with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce that’s easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  3. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms, cooking for 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier version, use low-fat cream and lean steak cuts. Ensure the steak is at room temperature before cooking for even searing.
