- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with bourbon and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, chopped pecans, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spread the peach mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the pecan topping over the peaches.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the peaches are bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute bourbon with apple juice. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream.
