This decadent fudge combines rich caramel and fresh apples for a sweet treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cream, and butter over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture reaches 234Β°F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and stir in diced apples, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Pour into a greased 8×8 inch pan and let cool for 2 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
For best results, use fresh, crisp apples and store in an airtight container.
