Description

A delicious and comforting spaghetti dish with seasoned ground beef tossed in a rich, creamy garlic cheddar sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for pasta water)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with diced onion until beef is browned and onion is translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Drain excess grease.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and pour in heavy cream. Stir in Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the cheese sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheddar for a smoother sauce. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
