Description

Delicious no-bake bars made with chocolate chips, perfect for a quick dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until well combined.
  3. Gradually mix in the heat-treated flour and salt until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Press the dough evenly into a lined 8×8 inch baking pan.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  7. Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

Ensure flour is heat-treated to avoid foodborne illness. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
