- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the heat-treated flour and salt until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Press the dough evenly into a lined 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
Ensure flour is heat-treated to avoid foodborne illness. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
