Description

A hearty one-pot meal featuring ground beef, pasta, and tomatoes, perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil.
  4. Add the elbow macaroni, reduce heat to low, and simmer covered for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste; let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
