Description

These creamy key lime pie bars are a delightful dessert with a buttery crust and zesty filling.


Ingredients

  • For the crust: 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • For the filling: 2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup key lime juice
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • Zest of 2 key limes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, egg yolks, and lime zest until smooth.
  5. Pour filling over the cooled crust and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
