Ingredients

- 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, fish)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Add potatoes and broth; bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in seafood and cream; cook until seafood is opaque.
- Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
For a thicker chowder, add a roux or more potatoes.
