Description

A rich and creamy soup loaded with fresh seafood, potatoes, and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, fish)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Add potatoes and broth; bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in seafood and cream; cook until seafood is opaque.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.

Notes

For a thicker chowder, add a roux or more potatoes.
