- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a 1.5-quart casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and stir in 2/3 cup of the French fried onions.
- Sprinkle the remaining 2/3 cup French fried onions on top.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
Notes
This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated; just add the final layer of onions before baking. Pairs well with turkey or ham.
