Description

Easy and delicious crispy chicken tenders cooked in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep-fried versions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge the chicken tenders in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don't touch.
  5. Spray the tops with cooking spray and air fry for 10 minutes.
  6. Flip the tenders and spray again, then air fry for another 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double coat the chicken tenders. Ensure the air fryer is not overcrowded.
