Description

This crispy baked salmon is a healthy and delicious dish featuring a golden, crunchy exterior and tender, flavorful interior, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush each salmon fillet with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Dredge the salmon fillets in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is crispy on the outside and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes. Ensure salmon is fresh for best results.
