Description

These biscotti are a decadent treat combining chocolate chips and Nutella for a crispy, irresistible biscuit.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and Nutella to the egg mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  7. Divide the dough in half and shape into two logs on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, then slice into biscotti shapes.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until crisp.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. These biscotti pair wonderfully with coffee.
