Description

A vibrant pasta salad combining pasta, fresh vegetables, and a tangy dressing for a delightful side dish.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions; drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, black olives, red bell pepper, red onion, and cheddar cheese.
  3. Pour the Italian dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use whole wheat pasta and low-fat cheese. Best served chilled.
