Description

These Crab Rangoon Balls are a fun, bite-sized twist on the classic appetizer, featuring creamy crab filling fried to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 ounces crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold into balls, sealing tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  5. Fry the balls in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

For a crispier texture, ensure the oil is at the right temperature. Serve with sweet chili sauce or duck sauce for the best flavor.
