Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 package (9 ounces) cheese tortellini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. 3. Add sliced steak, onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until steak is browned and vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Add cooked tortellini and shredded provolone cheese; stir until cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with a side salad.
