- 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced
- 1 package (9 ounces) cheese tortellini
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- 1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- 3. Add sliced steak, onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until steak is browned and vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. Stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 5. Add cooked tortellini and shredded provolone cheese; stir until cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with a side salad.
