Description

These ham and cheese pinwheels are a simple and delicious appetizer made with crescent roll dough, ham, and cheese, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Optional: 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a flat surface and press the seams together to form a single sheet.
  3. Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the dough.
  4. Layer the ham slices over the mustard, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  5. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  6. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. If desired, brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These pinwheels can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking for convenience.
