Description

These cherry cobbler bars are easy to make and feature juicy cherries in a buttery crust, making them a crowd favorite.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. Fold in the cherries gently.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
