Description

These easy peach dumplings are a delightful dessert made with fresh peaches wrapped in crescent roll dough, baked to golden perfection, and served with a sweet sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (like 7-Up)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles.
  3. Place a peach slice on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
  4. Place the rolled dumplings in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon; pour over the dumplings.
  6. Pour the soda around the edges of the dish.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
