- 2 ribeye steaks (about 8 oz each)
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- In another pan, melt butter and add garlic; cook for 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the garlic butter and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest for 2 minutes.
- Serve the steaks with the shrimp on top, garnished with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, use fresh ingredients and avoid overcooking the shrimp to keep it tender.
