Description

A quick and delicious surf and turf recipe featuring steak and shrimp, ready in just 20 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 8 oz each)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  3. In another pan, melt butter and add garlic; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the shrimp to the garlic butter and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the steaks with the shrimp on top, garnished with lemon wedges.

Notes
