Description

These festive mini cheese ball bites are perfect for holiday gatherings, featuring creamy cheese mixed with herbs and nuts, rolled into bite-sized portions.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: pretzel sticks for skewers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar until well combined.
  2. Add chives, pecans, garlic powder, and salt; stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Scoop the mixture and form into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in additional chopped nuts or herbs for coating, if desired.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve on a platter, skewered with pretzel sticks.

Notes

These can be prepared a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator. For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the mixture.
