- 1 cup beef broth

Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the pork chops on both sides until browned.
- Remove pork chops and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and garlic, cooking until caramelized.
- Stir in flour to make a roux, then add beef broth and red wine, bringing to a simmer.
- Return pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot, smothered in the onion sauce.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, use bone-in chops and let them marinate for 30 minutes before cooking. Pair with steamed vegetables.
