This is a simple and delicious way to bake scallops. Serve over rice or with a salad.

- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 pound scallops
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper; cook and stir for 1 minute.
- Arrange scallops in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour butter mixture over scallops.
- Bake in preheated oven until scallops are opaque and firm, 12 to 15 minutes.
