- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions and garlic to the skillet and sautΓ© until softened.
- Stir in cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Place a spoonful of the filling on an egg roll wrapper. Fold according to package instructions.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375Β°F. Fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
