Description

Crispy and flavorful egg rolls filled with savory ingredients, perfect for appetizers or snacks at any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onions and garlic to the skillet and sautΓ© until softened.
  3. Stir in cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  5. Place a spoonful of the filling on an egg roll wrapper. Fold according to package instructions.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375Β°F. Fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure oil is hot enough to avoid soggy rolls. Serve with dipping sauce like sweet chili or soy sauce.
