- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, and mix until just combined.
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
