Description

A hearty and flavorful dish made with ground beef, macaroni, tomatoes, and spices, perfect for a comforting family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil.
  4. Add uncooked macaroni to the pot and reduce heat to simmer; cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until macaroni is tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
