- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Sour cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautΓ© until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- On the baking sheet, lay one tortilla and spread a layer of refried beans on top.
- Add a layer of the seasoned beef mixture, then sprinkle with cheese and desired toppings like tomatoes and olives.
- Place another tortilla on top and repeat the layers if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are crispy.
- Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve with sour cream.
Notes
For a spicier version, add jalapeΓ±os or hot sauce. This pizza is best served fresh and hot.
