Description

These Mediterranean lemon chicken pita wraps are filled with tender lemon-herb chicken, crunchy vegetables, and a creamy tzatziki sauce. Perfect for a light lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-sear chicken over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Let rest, then slice.
  3. Warm pita breads. Assemble wraps: place sliced chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, feta, olives, and tzatziki on each pita. Wrap and serve.
